Dr. AJ Orenstein DACM, L.AcAJ takes a warm, practical, and down-to-earth approach to healing. Her areas of expertise include mental health, hormone balance, pregnancy and fertility, and pain relief. Drawing on a blend of Eastern and Western techniques, she’s dedicated to helping patients feel better in both body and mind—while feeling more connected to their overall well-being. Her goal is to empower people with simple, effective tools they can use to support their health every day.

Dr. Orenstein is a licensed acupuncturist in both Illinois and Texas, and a nationally board-certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM. She earned her Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, one of the nation’s most respected institutions for integrative and East Asian medicine.
Before pursuing advanced training in Chinese medicine, AJ worked as a registered nurse after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Binghamton University. With years of experience in diverse clinical settings—from rehabilitation to cardiac intensive care—she brings a well-rounded, holistic perspective to her acupuncture practice, thoughtfully bridging Eastern and Western medicine.
