Massage Therapist 

Position Summary: We are looking to add a massage therapist to the Moogie massage program. 

• Hiring for part time: We are open 7 days a week and there are opportunities to build your books during the weekdays as well as weekends
  

• Compensation: Hourly - paid on a percentage basis, This is an employee position

Essential job responsibilities:

• Provide massage to clients, manipulating soft tissues and joints to relieve pain, reduce stress, and promote relaxation and overall well-being
• Assess clients' conditions and use various techniques to address injuries, alleviate muscle tension, and improve mobility
• Time management + organization with scheduling, Arrive at least 15 minutes early for all appointments
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid license
• Knowledge of and experience in Deep Tissue, Swedish, and sports massage
• Knowledge of anatomy and basic Kinesiology
• Teach classes of mixed ability, catering for varying needs within a class offering adaptations and progressions as well as modifications where necessary
• Experience in a client-facing environment and ability to communicate and interact warmly and professionally with customers, developing relationships and long-term clientele
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Reliable, responsible, and prompt
• Knowledge of the Momence software is a plus
